This delightful fully renovated two bedroom cottage sitting on over 1800 sq metres of gently sloping tropical garden is located halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane in beautiful Moreton Bay on the smallest and prettiest island that is Lamb. A fifteen-minute ferry ride to Redland Bay places you back in the thick of the action with all major shops a 7 minute drive away.
If you’ve never visited the Bay Islands come and have a look … BUT … leave Lamb till last you’ll quickly see why its special and harder to purchase a suitable property
All rooms are light and airy with great views over lush gardens whilst still maintaining privacy. An echo deck on 3 sides of the house accessible from both bedrooms and the lounge provides either sun or shade depending on your needs as well as catching the breeze (or not)
The only neighbours you notice are curlews, maggies, kookas and butcher birds who pester for their daily snack. Two minutes away is a large parkland with swimming enclosure, kid’s playground, BBQ area, tennis court and a library. All this next to the recreation club where you can grab a quiet drink and a meal 5 days a week

Near the ferry terminal is a corner store for groceries you ran out of, or a free ferry ride inter-island lets you shop at IGA on Macleay or Russell islands 5 minutes either way. The Lamb Van provides a taxi service for $5 anywhere on the island regardless of numbers but the walk to the ferry is only 12 minutes ( if you can’t manage this then the garden is probably too much for you as well !! )
With plenty of room to expand or build a granny flat and STILL have your privacy, it is definitely worth a look.
