Roger Tucker

After 12 years in the New Zealand Army, of which 7 were served overseas, I left to take up a management role in the sports entertainment industry. Here I put to good use my organisational abilities, building up what was a declining business to being a successful player in a competitive market.  Once the business was established, I needed a new challenge and looked to a career in the real estate industry to provide this. 

Initially, I started my real estate career as a residential consultant specialising in the Plimmerton and Paremata areas, spending 5 years working there.  I moved to the Kapiti Coast in January 1997, where I had initially concentrated on building the profile of Leaders Real Estate.

In early 1998 an opportunity was presented to become a franchise owner of Leaders Real Estate in the Waikanae and Otaki area and from this point, the Leaders Real Estate brand started to be a recognised real estate company in the market. A seamless change to the global brand RE/MAX in 2004 and then to the current nationally successful Ray White brand from 2015 in the Kapiti - Levin region has been a contributor to extending our market presence.
