Establishing their own business has been a natural progression for Peter and Nicola Barnett following his wide experience of 12 years in the real estate industry and 12 years rural banking prior to that.
As a rural salesperson and franchise shareholder in the Lower North Island Bayleys franchise, Peter was regularly in the top 10% nationally for all salespeople and the top rural salesperson across the region. In 2006 he won the National Country Marketing Award for a specific campaign.
He also spent 3 years as Rural Manager for a regional real estate firm, where he was responsible for leadership, marketing and management for a team of up to 30 salespeople.
One of the highlights of Peter’s rural banking career was establishing from nothing and then growing, the ASB Bank’s rural business across the Lower North Island region.
A firm believer in the benefit of education, Peter holds a B.Com, a Diploma in Real Estate and is AREINZ accredited.
