Prior to taking up real estate in 2015 he spent 23 years in the finance industry and has also owned his own business. Community involvement

through The Salvation Army, Whangarei Youth Music and the Kaurihohore School Board of Trustees continues to be important to him but family life takes highest priority. His wife and four children have all featured as "extras" in some of the promotional videos for which he has gained a leading reputation in Whangarei, making some of the most fun part of his work a real family affair.
