This week, New Zealand's real estate auction market remained stable, with a slight decline in the number of listings and a steady clearance rate.

A total of 213 properties were up for auction this week, with results collected for 168 of them. Of these, 72 properties were sold successfully, 94 were passed in, and the clearance rate remained at 43%. Compared to last week, the number of properties up for auction decreased by 2 (approximately 0.9%), and the number of successful auctions decreased by 3 (approximately 4.0%), with the clearance rate remaining steady, indicating a stable market trend.

In terms of regional performance, the Auckland Central area saw a significant improvement in clearance rates:

- The clearance rate in Auckland Central increased by 7 percentage points to 49%;
- The clearance rate in Auckland East dropped significantly, declining by 31 percentage points to 33% due to reduced transaction volumes;
- Other areas, such as Auckland North Shore, Auckland West, and Auckland South, remained relatively stable, with clearance rate changes ranging from 1 to 4 percentage points.

In terms of price, the mainstream transaction range this week was between $1 million and $1.5 million, with 15 properties sold in this range, accounting for the largest proportion.

The highest transaction price this week was for a property at 501/10 Middleton Road in Remuera, which sold for $4.5 million.

The median sale price of homes this week rose significantly to $1,357,500, and the average sale price increased to $1,400,367, indicating a tendency towards higher-priced properties in this week's market (data is for reference only).
